Hybrisan is a MedTech firm based in South Wales looking to disrupt and revolutionise wound care.

Our mission is to provide superior, ethical and affordable technological solutions for infection control so that we can improve the quality of lives impacted by chronic wounds, and move one step closer to a world without chronic infection.

Leadership Team

The Hybrisan team is drawn from local scientific talent and has a fresh, enthusiastic approach to disrupting the status quo; invigorating stagnant technology to make an impact on global communities by championing our mission and striving to achieve our vision. Dr Chris Mortimer - CEO

As CEO Chris is responsible for identifying and implementing business strategy, allocating capital and overseeing the executive team. In his technical capacity, Chris is responsible for identifying, developing, and launching new products and services at Hybrisan.

First Class BEng(Hons) in Medical Engineering with a PhD in the field of Nanotechnology.

Specialist in biofilms, antimicrobial materials and electrospinning of nanofibres. 9 years experience in advanced MedTech product development.

Our Technical Team

Hybrisan have a diverse Research and Development team of product development scientists with a range of skills in Microbiology, Materials Engineering, Pharmaceuticals and Nanotechnology. The team are responsible for product design and development, prototyping, testing and product implementation.

Our team passionately strive for excellence which exhibit in their careful attention to detail. We are inquisitive and fuel our innovation in delivering best medical products. We call this resourcefulness, and a sense that perfection is only just good enough.
